The Generator is an online platform and support programme designed to improve the financial situation of individuals and whānau and to strengthen communities. It backs Kiwis who are eligible for, or who hold a Community Service Card, who have enterprising ideas to increase income or reduce costs for themselves, their whānau or their community. Please note that only the applicant with a Community Serices Card can be funded.

The Generator provides a programme of wrap-around support, an online platform, and the seed funding necessary to start an enterprising project.

The Generator seeks to build local and national networks of entrepreneurs, business supports, communities and funders using kotahitanga principles of reciprocity, mutual support and working together in unity for something bigger than any of us individually. People are invited to bring their kete of strengths, skills, knowledge, stories, resources and funding to share and exchange for the betterment of all.

Emerge Aotearoa is the delivery partner\s with trusted networks of people already present in communities across Aotearoa New Zealand. Emerge Aotearoa offers a supported journey from start-to-finish and have a reputation for doing the deep work necessary to meet the needs of the hardest to reach.
